TBRs and Wrap Ups

July TBR and June Wrap Up

So this month I hit a bit of a bump in my reading. I took forever to read the first two books on my list and I’m having a hard time sitting down and reading. I hope to remedy that next month though.

The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson: I gave this 3 out of 5 stars! I enjoyed it and  the review is below.

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare: I gave this a 5 out of 5 stars! I loved it and again review is below.

Carry on by Rainbow Rowell: Currently Reading. Review should be up this weekend.

The goal for July is to get out of this slump and read more. Not a ton cause I don’t want to overcompensate, but just read as much as I can. So I want to finish Carry on by Rainbow Rowell. Read Off The Page by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer. Read the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Trilogy by Jenny Han. Read The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson. And finally Just One Year by Gayle Forman. These are all contemporaries so I’m hoping to get through them!

Until Next Time

Alex

TBRs and Wrap Ups

April TBR and March Wrap Up

So this month I read less than I wanted to due to spring break and shows. But here is what I read and almosr all of the reviews will be posted either this weekend or next!

Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare- I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars, I finished this in Maech, but started at the very end of February. I thought the stories were so much fun and I loved all the characters so much!

The Shade of the Moon by Susan Beth Pfeffer- I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars. It was the conclusion the the Last Survivors series. It was fast paced and a great conclusion.

This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab- I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed it a lot, but the world building wasn’t that great. I’m excited for the second one in the sereies.

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard- I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t as fast paced as I wanted.

Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard- I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars again just cause it wasn’t as fast paced.

King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard-I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars as well.  I loved it, but the last 150 pages or so dragged on. (review will be up Sunday)

Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stepahanie Perkins- I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars! I enjoyed it a lot and it was such a cute contemporary. Review will be up Monday.

Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins- I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars too! I really enjoyed it and again such a cute contemporary. Review will be up Tuesday!

Nothing Less by Anna Todd- I’m currently reading, but review will be up next weekend!

So now for my April TBR. I didn’t read as much as I wanted to so some of my books from my last TBR will be here.  So I’m planning to finish Nothing Less by Anna Todd for sure! I’m also going to read Bad Blood by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.  Ugly Love, Hopeless, Losing Hope, Finding Cinderella, Maybe Someday, Maybe Not, Novemeber 9, Confess, Never, Never 1, Never, Never 2, Never, Never 3, Slammed, Point of Retreat, This Girl, and finally It Ends With Us all by Colleen Hoover. That’s a lot of books, but since Colleen Hoover is a pretty addicting author and some of these books are like novellas it shouldn’t be too bad.

Let me know what you’re planning on reading in the comments!

Until Next Time,

Alex

January Wrap Up and February TBR

So this month I had a really great reading month! I didn’t feel like I read that much, but when I looked back I read quite a bit. I have reviews on all these books (except the last one because I’m currently reading it)

Nothing More by Anna Todd: I gave this a 5 out of 5 stars and I honestly really enjoyed it. It wasn’t as drama-filled as the rest of her books so it was nice. Recommend it to 16+ pbecause it does have mature scenes in it.

Before by Anna Todd: I also gave this a 5 out of 5 stars because I loved reading from Hardin’s point of view and all the others. It was nice and really helped you understand the characters better. I recommend this to 16+ because it does have mature scenes in it.

Fire in You by Jennifer L. Armentrout: I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars (I was really generous this month). JLA is my fave author ever so I honestly feel like she writes deserves a 5 out of 5 stars. She is an extraordinary author and l literally everyone should read her. I recommend this to 16+ because again mature content. It’s the last book in a series, but can be read out of order.

Four by Veronica Roth: I was so late to this parade. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars. I liked hearing from Four’s perspective, but it wasn’t great. Recommend it to anyone in middle school and up.

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater: I gave this a 4 out of 5 stars. I really liked it and that ending though.  Recommend it to middle school and up.

Linger by Maggie Stiefvater: I’m currently reading it.

Now for my TBR!

I’m hoping to read Forever by Maggie Stievfater, The Lovely Reckless by Kami Garcia, Sweet Evil, Sweet Peril, Sweet Reckoning, and Sweet Temptation by Wendy Higgins, and finally The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare. I have no idea if I will finish all of those, but I’m being ambitious.

Until Next Time,

Alex
