Bad Blood by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

“New victims. New betrayals. New secrets.

When Cassie Hobbes joined the FBI’s Naturals program, she had one goal: uncover the truth about her mother’s murder. But now, everything Cassie thought she knew about what happened that night has been called into question. Her mother is alive, and the people holding her captive are more powerful—and dangerous—than anything the Naturals have faced so far. As Cassie and the team work to uncover the secrets of a group that has been killing in secret for generations, they find themselves racing a ticking clock.

The bodies begin piling up, the deaths hit closer and closer to home, and it soon becomes apparent that this time, the Naturals aren’t just hunting serial killers.

They’re being hunted themselves.”

~Synopsis from Goodreads

So I read the first three books in this series last summer. My reviews are all the back in June 2016 if you want to read my thoughts on them. I was so sad I had to wait months to read this, but I finally did!!!! Honestly so proud of myself.

It was such an amazing book. I didn’t think I could like a crime book so much, but I did! It fascinated me, the way the kids tried to figure out the motive of the killer. I think that the story was so great and there were so many twists and turns! So many plot twists and the ending killed me!

I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars because it wasn’t totally mind blowing. I still really enjoy it and I recommend it to middle school and up!

Until Next Time,
