Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins

“Lola Nolan is a budding costume designer, and for her, the more outrageous, sparkly, and fun the outfit, the better. And everything is pretty perfect in her life (right down to her hot rocker boyfriend) until the Bell twins, Calliope and Cricket, return to the neighborhood. When Cricket, a gifted inventor, steps out from his twin sister’s shadow and back into Lola’s life, she must finally reconcile a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door.”

~Synopsis from Goodreads

I read this book last week and loved it. I read Anna and the French Kiss sometime last year and I thought it was a very cutesy novel.

Lola is very different than most of the characters in YA romance. But I really loved her style and who she was. I think the story was a lot more unique than most YA romance. I really enjoyed it and I think it’s a great love story.

I gave it a 5 out of 5 stars! I really enjoy it. I think it would be great for anyone just looking for a simple romance. I recommend it to anyone!

Until Next Time,

Alex
