Isla and the Happily Ever After

“Love ignites in the City That Never Sleeps, but can it last?

Hopeless romantic Isla has had a crush on introspective cartoonist Josh since their first year at the School of America in Paris. And after a chance encounter in Manhattan over the summer, romance might be closer than Isla imagined. But as they begin their senior year back in France, Isla and Josh are forced to confront the challenges every young couple must face, including family drama, uncertainty about their college futures, and the very real possibility of being apart.

Featuring cameos from fan-favorites Anna, Étienne, Lola, and Cricket, this sweet and sexy story of true love—set against the stunning backdrops of New York City, Paris, and Barcelona—is a swoonworthy conclusion to Stephanie Perkins’s beloved series.”

~Synopsis from Goodreads

So I read this immediately after I finished Lola and the Boy Next Door. I loved this book and the romance (again).I loved how at the end we see all of the main couples together because they are all goals. Josh and Isla are such a cute couple, but I gotta say Isla is my least favorite. She just wasn’t as inviting as Anna and Lola. I mean she was very rude and kind of jealous. But I still really enjoyed the book.

I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars! I think honestly Josh and the romance made up for Isla’s character. They do some *naughty* things in this book so I would recommend to at least 14. Don’t those kids to be corrupted.

Until Next Time,
