Moon Called by Patricia Briggs

“Mercedes “Mercy” Thompson is a talented Volkswagen mechanic living in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. She also happens to be a walker, a magical being with the power to shift into a coyote at will. Mercy’s next-door neighbor is a werewolf. Her former boss is a gremlin. And she’s fixing a bus for a vampire. This is the world of Mercy Thompson, one that looks a lot like ours but is populated by those things that go bump in the night. And Mercy’s connection to those things is about to get her into some serious hot water…”

So I read this book last week. Someone got it for me as a gift so I read  it out of obligation even though I wasn’t really excited to read it. I honestly was expecting to hate it. But I ended up liking it. It wasn’t a book where I was jumping up to read the sequel. Also, this series has like 9 books out with at least 2 more to come out. That’s a lot of commitment and guys I have commitment issues. There is a reason I am single. So I don’t really know if I’ll pick up the rest of the series,  but we’ll just see.  I gave this book a 3 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to probably 14 or 15 year olds and older.  It’s not super mature, but there are some parts.

This one is short because I have a very emotional, long review coming up pretty soon! Also, if you were missing Tay’s reviews they will be coming soon (WordPress messed up and didn’t save her review for the Throne of Glass Series review so she has to redo that one so she can upload her other reviews)

Until Next Time,

Alex
