Fairest by Marissa Meyer

“In this stunning bridge book between Cress and Winter in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles, Queen Levana’s story is finally told.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?

Fans of the Lunar Chronicles know Queen Levana as a ruler who uses her “glamour” to gain power. But long before she crossed paths with Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, Levana lived a very different story – a story that has never been told . . . until now.

Marissa Meyer spins yet another unforgettable tale about love and war, deceit and death. This extraordinary book includes full-color art and an excerpt from Winter, the next book in the Lunar Chronicles series.”

~Synopsis from Goodreads

I read this book after reading Winter. I honestly really liked Queen Levana as a villain. I just had a feeling especially in Winter that she was misunderstood and she was!  I absolutely loved her story and all the things that made her the villain she is.

This book is about Levana and how she grows up to where Cinder starts. It makes you understand who Levana is and all the crap she went through to become who she is now. I thought it was so interesting and it just gave so much insight into her life and who she was.

I would give this book a 4 out of 5 stars just because it moved so fast and it was such a great story. I recommend this to anyone that loves the Lunar Chronicles.

Sorry this is such a short review, it was a very short book.

Until Next Time,

Alex
